beefyjamesvega:

[REPLY:] Maybe. We have yet to confirm this. You might win that title though.

[MESSAGE]: I don’t think so. I’m technically unemployed.

beefyjamesvega:

[REPLY:] I won’t pry but I know, babe. You wouldn’t do something like that anyways.

[MESSAGE]: Thanks. You’re the best.

beefyjamesvega:

[REPLY:] You couldn’t convince me otherwise. You’re a good woman, Shae. I haven’t said it lately but I love you.

[MESSAGE]: I love you too. And thanks for not doubting me on this. I swear not a credit of that went into my own pocket.

beefyjamesvega:

[REPLY:] …Not good, babe.

[MESSAGE]: If it makes me look like less of a snake, I did it for a good reason.

beefyjamesvega:

[REPLY:] How did you get suspended from your own club?

[MESSAGE]: The guy who owns the deed decided to show up one day and saw I’d been forging the books. Said I was suspended until he decides whether or not to press charges for fraud. Fun shit.

beefyjamesvega:

[REPLY:] What’s that supposed to mean?

[MESSAGE]: I got suspended from Purgatory. But at least now I have the time to hang out with you.

beefyjamesvega:

[REPLY:] I’ll tell Shepard.

[MESSAGE]: Maybe something good will come out of all this after all.

His smile was smug and stretched across his rosy blush and he found himself a little tired, not entirely wanting to go out in public again. “Mmh, good cause trust me when I say you can do that to me anytime you want.”

Shae laughed as she pulled up her expensive panties and perched herself on his lap, wrapping her arms around his neck. “Next time you’ll have to tip me.” She placed a light peck on his cheek before burying her face in his neck. “It’s good to have you home, babe.”

beefyjamesvega:

*He smiles as she talks and tries to reassure himself as well.*

It’s just tiring to work all the time and not have someone to come home to.

[She grins sadly.]

I know the feeling. I love Paco but…it doesn’t really compare.

beefyjamesvega:

*He sighed, full of guilt.*

..I’m sorry I keep leaving you.

[She moves around to face him.]

No! No way. No. It’s not your fault. I know it’s what you have to do. Please, don’t worry about me, okay? I can manage. I promise. Just…focus on important things, okay?
